-
1) Sign Up
Sign up using the form below. Once you've signed up, you will receive a welcome email confirming your unique entry reference – keep that safe as you will need to participate!
-
2) Select Your Team
There are two categories - 8-11 years old and 11-14 year-old. There must be FOUR contestants in the team and each school can enter a maximum of two teams in each age bracket.
-
3) Online Heats
The live online heats will take place on Wednesday 5th and Thursday 6th November. The heat lasts about an hour and will be a Zoom call with other schools taking part at the same time.
Online Heats
Each heat includes three rounds of multiple-choice questions. Teams of four work together on one screen, with the Zoom call visible on a second. The quizmaster guides the rounds, with timed questions, a countdown clock, and plenty of fun!
Questions come from five What On Earth! Magazine issues, announced in mid-September. Teams can use the magazines throughout.
Grand Live London Final
The top four schools in each category (Junior and Senior) will be invited to the in-person finals in London at Stationers’ Hall on Wednesday 26th November. Travel bursaries are available to ensure cost is not a barrier.
Unsuccessful schools will be notified and receive a consolation prize.
Friends and families are welcome!
